Terms of Service (Event DJ Services)

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between UltraV Collective LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the person or organisation booking our DJ services (“you” or “client”). By making a booking with us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Services
We provide DJ services for private and public events including weddings, corporate events, parties, and venue bookings. A description of our packages and offerings is available upon request or on our website. We will supply: Professional DJ performance for the agreed performance time Music and sound equipment as specified in the booking Setup and takedown of equipment within reasonable venue timings You agree to: Provide accurate event details (date, time, venue, access)Ensure suitable access, power supply, and performance space

3. Booking & Payment To secure a booking: A non-refundable deposit of £200 GBP is required The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event, unless agreed other wise If payment is late, we reserve the right to withhold services.

4. Cancellation Policy Client Cancellation If you cancel: The deposit remains non-refundable. If cancellation is within 30 days of the event, 50% of the remaining balance is payable If cancellation is more than 30 days before the event, no further payment is due.
Our Cancellation If we are unable to perform due to serious illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will: Provide a suitable professional replacement where possible, or Refund all payments made in full This is the limit of our liability.

5. Event Requirements You must ensure: Safe and secure venue access Adequate and safe power supply. The performance area is sheltered from weather (for outdoor events)We reserve the right to stop performance if equipment or safety is at risk.

6. Behaviour & Safety You (and venue staff) are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for our equipment and staff. We may immediately end the performance if there is : Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour. Damage or risk of damage to equipment Illegal activity. No refunds will be given in these circumstances. Any damage to equipment resulting from unsafe behaviour or failure to maintain a safe environment will be charged to the client as outlined in Section 7.


7. Damage to Equipment All equipment supplied by UltraV Sound / UltraV Collective LTD remains our property at all times. You are responsible for ensuring that our equipment is protected from damage, theft, misuse, liquid spills, power surges, weather exposure, or interference by guests, venue staff, or third parties under your control. In the event that any equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen during the event, including during setup and takedown the person signing this service agreement, or the booking organisation, is financially liable for the full cost of repair or replacement. This includes (but is not limited to) damage caused by: Guests or third parties.

- Venue staff
- Children
- Intoxicated individuals
- Drinks, liquids, or food
- Unsafe power supply or electrical faults
- Weather or environmental exposure

Payment for repair or replacement costs may be required within 14 days of written notice and supporting evidence.

8. Music & Song Requests
We will make reasonable efforts to include your requested songs and preferred music styles.However, final track selection and mixing remain at the DJ’s discretion, based on crowd flow, event atmosphere, and professional judgement.

9. Liability
We are not responsible for: Venue suitability Noise restrictions or curfews Venue sound or power limitations Power loss Weather conditions Third-party supplier issues Our maximum liability will not exceed the total amount paid for the booking.

10. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including (but not limited to) severe weather, illness, strikes, venue closure, or government restrictions.11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes will be handled exclusively in Scottish courts.
